Passeport and Visa :
As regards the French nationals : a valid passport or a national identity card (when it comes to groups of more than three visitors possessing hotel vouchers bought from travel agencies, in the name of a moroccan "correspondent"). Concerning some nationalities, entry visa required.
Vaccination :
Vaccination certificate is not required.
Electric current :
220 volts in the new buildings,110 volts in the old ones. Find out about it before use.
Currency:
Banks are open continuously from Monday to Friday, from 8h15 to 14h15.
During the month of Ramadan, banks are open from 9.30 (am) to 2 (pm).
Foreign exchange offices (Bureau de change) are available in most airports and hotels.
Unit of currency is the dirham (DH).
How to go to Morocco ?
- By Sea :
The ports of Tangiers and Nador ensure an important passenger traffic leaving Sete, Algesiras and Almeria
- By Road traffic :
Visitors may go to Morocco by car, train, motorail train, coaches via Algesiras.
They go across the Straits of Gibraltar till Tangiers or Ceuta.Equally, from Sete (France) towards Tangiers and from Almeria to Nador or Melilia.
- By air :
Regular flights and charter planes link Morocco to the most important cities of Europe , America and Middle East
